SRG Therapy Group · Massachusetts
Instead of asking you to search a directory and guess, SRG learns what you need and personally recommends a therapist based on clinical experience, communication style, preferences, insurance, and availability.
Home / How Therapist Matching Works
A Better Starting Point
Therapist directories can leave you comparing photographs, credentials, and long lists of specialties without knowing who will actually understand you. At SRG, a real person reviews every inquiry.
Jennifer considers the concern bringing you to therapy, the kind of support you want, personal preferences, scheduling needs, insurance, and each clinician's strengths before recommending a match. The goal is not simply to place you with whoever has an opening—it is to make a thoughtful first connection.
What we consider
What Happens Next
The process is designed to be simple, personal, and transparent.
Tell us what brings you to therapy, your preferences, insurance, and availability. You do not need to know a diagnosis or therapy method.
Your inquiry is personally reviewed rather than routed automatically. We consider both clinical fit and the practical details that make treatment possible.
We connect you with a clinician who appears to fit your needs. You can have a brief consultation and ask questions before deciding how you feel.
If the connection feels right, you schedule your first session. If it does not, tell us. We can discuss another clinician without awkwardness or judgment.
More Than Availability
No matching process can predict chemistry perfectly. What we can do is listen carefully, make a thoughtful recommendation, and remain available if the first match is not right. You are never expected to stay with a therapist solely because you were introduced.
Meet Our TherapistsCommon Questions
We aim to review inquiries and respond within three business days. Timing may vary depending on clinician availability and the information needed to confirm insurance eligibility.
Yes. You may share preferences related to gender, identity, language, culture, therapeutic style, or other factors important to your comfort. We will honor them whenever an appropriate clinician is available.
You do not need to know. Describe what is happening and what you hope will improve. We will consider which clinician and approach may fit.
Tell us. A mismatch does not mean therapy will not help, and requesting another clinician will not offend us. We can talk through what felt off and suggest another option.
Your information is used to evaluate your inquiry and identify an appropriate clinician. The online form includes consent and privacy information. It is not monitored as a crisis service.
Tell us what you are looking for. Jennifer will personally review your information and help identify the best available fit.
